Another rough night last night — I woke myself up moaning in pain. That said, I am doing better, much better. So we take the bad with the good and move on.

Robert used my camera this morning to take pictures of the snow on the mountains across the way. He knows I like to post photos on my entries. So here’s this morning’s photo:

The snow shows up much better today with the clear sky and bright sunshine.

My quilting friend and I are taking a road trip today to shop for fabric. Actually, I’m the one who needs the fabric, she’s going along for the ride. I enjoy her company and she enjoys mine. She’s an excellent co-pilot, warning me before the exits when I get caught up in conversation. We’re going to check out a new shop this morning. It’s called Bolts in the Bathtub and it’s supposed to have some really nice fabric. We’ll check it out first and then head on east to JoAnn’s. I have a 40% coupon that will help me buy the backing fabric for my grandson’s quilt. I hope they have a good selection of navy blues.

Well, I need to get this show on the road, so will close with blessings to all — especially those who have served (or are serving) their country. Be safe, be well, and please be happy. Know that you are loved, and be sure to let those you love know that you love them. We can never hear those 3 words often enough — I Love You!

About tehachap

The easiest way to define myself is as a very happily married woman with two sons and two grandsons. My hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, trains (watching, photographing and running them in G scale), and travel. My husband and I are retired and we spend our winters in Arizona. I used to own a secretarial and desktop publishing business, but closed it when my husband retired in 1999. We have truly enjoyed our retirement years, and have fulfilled one of our primary goals in life and that is to own a home overlooking train tracks so we can watch trains 24/7. We are sincerely blessed in this life.
