Pansies are one of the most perfect flowers in the world. This one is very similar to an orchid. I learned how to make frosting pansies in my cake decorating class many moons ago. Fun things to make… even better to look at in a garden.

It IS  a lovely day today — quiet, with a train every now and then, and the silent cars and trucks moving by on the highway. Robert is in the living room watching a football game. Nirvana! I don’t like to watch football, but it sure does make for good background noise for napping.

A very short entry — I’m reading Edgewood by Karen McQuestion. A fascinating sci-fi story about four teenagers and astrological phenomena.

Be safe, be well and please be happy. Remember to tell those you love that you love them.

About tehachap

The easiest way to define myself is as a very happily married woman with two sons and two grandsons. My hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, trains (watching, photographing and running them in G scale), and travel. My husband and I are retired and we spend our winters in Arizona. I used to own a secretarial and desktop publishing business, but closed it when my husband retired in 1999. We have truly enjoyed our retirement years, and have fulfilled one of our primary goals in life and that is to own a home overlooking train tracks so we can watch trains 24/7. We are sincerely blessed in this life.

George is upstairs playing games, and I am downstairs reading. Now that’s Nirvana. LOL
