NAMOJO: DAY 26 Happy Thanksgiving!

May you all be blessed on this day of thanks giving. We have much to be thankful for; family, friends and health to name a few. We’ll celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow evening with our younger son and his family, while the older son will celebrate today with his girlfriend’s family.

I completed the quilting on the grandson’s quilt and made two pillowcases to go with the quilt.

My goal for today is to add the binding and label to the quilt. I should be able to finish it by tonight and have it ready for traveling tomorrow.

I have a small boneless ham that I plan on baking for our Thanksgiving meal. It’s just the two of us so we won’t need a lot of the extra trimmings. I do have pumpkin so we can have fresh pumpkin pie for dessert!

Be safe, be well, and please be happy. Enjoy your holiday whether it’s with family, friends or by yourself. And please remember to tell those you love that you love them.

About tehachap

The easiest way to define myself is as a very happily married woman with two sons and two grandsons. My hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, trains (watching, photographing and running them in G scale), and travel. My husband and I are retired and we spend our winters in Arizona. I used to own a secretarial and desktop publishing business, but closed it when my husband retired in 1999. We have truly enjoyed our retirement years, and have fulfilled one of our primary goals in life and that is to own a home overlooking train tracks so we can watch trains 24/7. We are sincerely blessed in this life.

“Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your ham and pie. What more could one want. Whipped cream? Nice quilt, nice hills, and nice pillowcases.”
