Baby, it’s cold outside!

Woke at 5:30 a.m. and got up to a back yard full of clouds. I haven’t checked the thermometer on the deck — I don’t need to in order to tell whether it’s cold outside or not. It HAS to be colder than a witch outside because it’s a tad cool inside. Looking out the window right now, I can’t see anything but the trees waving in the breeze. I HEAR a locomotive coming up the valley, but can’t see his headlights. I can’t see the highway either!

This first photo was taken when I just got up

Two hours later, this is what the outdoors looked like:

Looks like staying indoors is the order of the day. That’s o.k. I have a quilt binding to stitch down. Break out some good movies and just be for awhile…

Be safe, be well, and please be happy. Enjoy each and every day of your life — be grateful for what you have and for what you don’t have! And please tell those you love that you love them. It’s so very important. Blessings to all…

About tehachap

The easiest way to define myself is as a very happily married woman with two sons and two grandsons. My hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, trains (watching, photographing and running them in G scale), and travel. My husband and I are retired and we spend our winters in Arizona. I used to own a secretarial and desktop publishing business, but closed it when my husband retired in 1999. We have truly enjoyed our retirement years, and have fulfilled one of our primary goals in life and that is to own a home overlooking train tracks so we can watch trains 24/7. We are sincerely blessed in this life.
