These last 12 days have been such fun. I have one more gift remaining that will be opened tomorrow morning — it’s Christmas Eve and the note on the gift says it was made by my Secret Santa’s husband. I’ve known who my Secret Santa is since the first day when I opened the Christmas card that came with all of my beautifully wrapped gifts. Lana Strong has been my Secret Santa and she’s been so very thoughtful and generous in this swap. Each gift has had Batik fabric as the wrapping paper so I now have a wonderful stash of Batik fabrics to create with.
Today’s gift is something that I’ve wanted, and could have made for myself (though I doubt it would have been as wonderful as the one I’ve received). It’s a casserole carrier, which I will most assuredly use a lot when we’re in our winter home in Arizona. It’s awesome, Lana, and I don’t know how to thank you. I’ll think of you every time I use it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Our weather continues to be cold and extremely windy. There’s been a number of accidents with semi-trucks being blown over on eastbound SR58. The winds got up to 80+mph. For those who have to be traveling over the Christmas holiday, please be extra careful.
Be safe, be well, and please be happy. Be sure to tell those you love that you love them.
