Is it a Mystery Quilt or just leftovers?

Mystery quilt or

There are 12 (12) 6″ animal/target blocks, and various widths and lengths of coordinating fabrics, though none that suggest a pattern of any sort. This is another UFO that I acquired from the estate of a local quilter. I thought the pieces were all there and just needed to be sewn together. Wrong… I went online to search for the fabric and I found it, but it’s out of stock (naturally). I have solid black and white fabrics that I can cut to work into these bits, but need to find a pattern first.

To be continued at a future date to be determined…

About tehachap

The easiest way to define myself is as a very happily married woman with two sons and two grandsons. My hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, trains (watching, photographing and running them in G scale), and travel. My husband and I are retired and we spend our winters in Arizona. I used to own a secretarial and desktop publishing business, but closed it when my husband retired in 1999. We have truly enjoyed our retirement years, and have fulfilled one of our primary goals in life and that is to own a home overlooking train tracks so we can watch trains 24/7. We are sincerely blessed in this life.

Do your standard 9 patch with strips. 🙂

A personalized lap quilt made by Seaside Quilters came through the store yesterday. No holes, just very dirty. It’s a nice big star with trapunto in the center. I am going to see if I can get it clean.
