What a gorgeous day today. The sky is clear blue and there’s a trace of snow left in the valleys of the hills across the way. Lovely.

Grabbing a quick breakfast of sausage patties, scrambled eggs and a hash brown patty. Yum… I found a really delicious breakfast sausage at the Dollar General Market. It’s called Odom’s Tennesee Pride Mild Sausage and oh my, is it ever good. Next to no fat in it, and it’s got just the right amount of spices. I hope they never quit carrying it.

Errands to run right after breakfast — going to pick up prescriptions for my asthma and a muscle relaxant. I sure could have used that muscle relaxant last night. I wound up taking a pain pill around 1 a.m. and got to sleep around 4:30 a.m. Naps will be the order of the day today.

Be safe, be well, and please be happy. Life is 99.99% attitude, you know. Be grateful for what you have and for what you DON’T have! And pleae be sure to tell those you love that you love them.

About tehachap

The easiest way to define myself is as a very happily married woman with two sons and two grandsons. My hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, trains (watching, photographing and running them in G scale), and travel. My husband and I are retired and we spend our winters in Arizona. I used to own a secretarial and desktop publishing business, but closed it when my husband retired in 1999. We have truly enjoyed our retirement years, and have fulfilled one of our primary goals in life and that is to own a home overlooking train tracks so we can watch trains 24/7. We are sincerely blessed in this life.
