Hair cuts are the order of the day today. Not much else going on except getting clothes ready for tomorrow’s Depot Duty. It’s our monthly volunteer day at the Tehachapi Depot Railroad Museum.

We haven’t seen Carl lately, so yesterday I put together a catnip pillow and took it over to his owner. I asked CH where Carl had been these past few days  and she said he’s turned into a total night owl and doesn’t go out at all during the daylight hours. I handed her the pillow and said he’d possibly smell my scent on the pillow as well as the fresh cat nip I put in it. I told her it was filled with threads and clippings from my sewing, so when it got too dirty she could just toss it in the trash and let me know so I could make him a new one. I hope this prompts him to come for a visit. We shall see…

Be safe, be well, and please be happy. Be sure to tell those you love that you love them.

About tehachap

The easiest way to define myself is as a very happily married woman with two sons and two grandsons. My hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, trains (watching, photographing and running them in G scale), and travel. My husband and I are retired and we spend our winters in Arizona. I used to own a secretarial and desktop publishing business, but closed it when my husband retired in 1999. We have truly enjoyed our retirement years, and have fulfilled one of our primary goals in life and that is to own a home overlooking train tracks so we can watch trains 24/7. We are sincerely blessed in this life.
