DAY 23 NAJOWRIMO October 23, 2016

Cold and “oogly” out today. We’re supposed to get rain some time Wednesday afternoon/evening, but I’m thinking we might get it before then if the sky keeps looking like this. img_4361

I haven’t seen the ground squirrels lately. One could almost hope that they were taken care of for me by the Coyotes. I’m fairly sure that Carl didn’t do them in, but you never know. It’s just nice that they won’t be digging holes in the back yard anymore (hope, hope).

I’m making progress on my sewing — I have another pillow just about finished. I need to fix one corner, fill it and stitch the opening closed and it will be done. Then I will have two more to complete and I can move on to the next item on my list of projects to finish before we leave for Arizona.

I have the crock pot going with country-style pork ribs, so that will be dinner tonight. We have a train meet to go to today, so I know we’ll be tired when we get back home.

Be safe, be well, and please be happy. Be kind to others and remember that we are all one. Be sure to remind those you love that you love them.

About tehachap

The easiest way to define myself is as a very happily married woman with two sons and two grandsons. My hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, trains (watching, photographing and running them in G scale), and travel. My husband and I are retired and we spend our winters in Arizona. I used to own a secretarial and desktop publishing business, but closed it when my husband retired in 1999. We have truly enjoyed our retirement years, and have fulfilled one of our primary goals in life and that is to own a home overlooking train tracks so we can watch trains 24/7. We are sincerely blessed in this life.
