We’ve had quite a bit of rain this past week and from what I’ve seen on the weather reports, we’re due for some snow. The temperature has dropped down to the low 30’s, according to the thermometer on the deck. The afternoon fog continues to block out any signs of traffic on the tracks or the highway. I’m glad I don’t have to get out in it. :/

I have eight quilts to be put together for the Depot gift shop, along with some crayon rolls. I’d also like to make a few holders for colored pencils. The Depot is selling a coloring book these days, and the colored pencils will sell really well with the coloring book.

We watched a bit of Netflicks tonight. By 11:00 p.m., I was super tired and Robert went on to bed while I stayed up to put an entry here. Now I’m just about toast so will close this very short entry with blessings and the hope that you take care. Be safe, be well and please be happy. Be sure to tell those you love that you love them.

About tehachap

The easiest way to define myself is as a very happily married woman with two sons and two grandsons. My hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, trains (watching, photographing and running them in G scale), and travel. My husband and I are retired and we spend our winters in Arizona. I used to own a secretarial and desktop publishing business, but closed it when my husband retired in 1999. We have truly enjoyed our retirement years, and have fulfilled one of our primary goals in life and that is to own a home overlooking train tracks so we can watch trains 24/7. We are sincerely blessed in this life.

I’m glad you are well and sewing. How is Robert? More rain expected here, I’m cleaning the fridge and grocery shopping. My quilt space is finally set up too.

I have 8 quilts set up to make for the Depot gift shop. I need backing fabrics for 6 of them so will get that on Wed. when we go to Bakersfield for Robert’s consult with the Urologist. We’ve had rain off and on this past week and were supposed to get snow this weekend, but it’s not happening. Sun is out, sky is mostly blue with some wispy white clouds, but nothing that looks like it might produce any of the white stuff! 😉
