104_0034This is just a project to clear out some of my fabrics. I have black fabric for the backing on the left pillow front, but not enough of the same black to do the second pillow. I’ll add cording around each pillow, which will set them off nicely.

No idea what I’ll do with them when they’re finished as I don’t need more pillows for the house. I might offer them to the Depot for sale in the gift shop, though they’re not train-oriented fabrics, they are very attractive.

I have a book to pick up at the library and a bit of shopping to do at the grocery and office supply stores. That’s all on the agenda for today, other than doing a bit of sewing for the Depot’s gift shop. They’re out of crayon rolls and I did want to do the larger ones for colored pencils.

The weather has cleared and we just had our first train of the day. It’s looking good on all fronts!

Be safe, be well, and please be happy. Take care of yourself and be sure to tell those you love that you love them.

About tehachap

The easiest way to define myself is as a very happily married woman with two sons and two grandsons. My hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, trains (watching, photographing and running them in G scale), and travel. My husband and I are retired and we spend our winters in Arizona. I used to own a secretarial and desktop publishing business, but closed it when my husband retired in 1999. We have truly enjoyed our retirement years, and have fulfilled one of our primary goals in life and that is to own a home overlooking train tracks so we can watch trains 24/7. We are sincerely blessed in this life.
