Thursday, June 30, 2022 — I missed the “Thursday Door” post last week, but I offer the following as my entry for this week. It’s our front door and I love it. I found the design, researched where to find/order it and watched as they put it in.
When people ask how to pick out our house in the cul-de-sac, I tell them, “Look for the house with the red door and a sign on the front that says, ‘Cable House.’ That’s us.

I love the glass door and side panels. It is a beautiful entryway. Our front door is painted red only because when we last had the house painted an off-white, the painter said the front door had to be more exciting. I let him pick the color and he chose the red that matched my hair. He said, “someone with your personality should not live in a beige house.”

I love this!! The way our door turned out to be red is the stain reacted to the fiberglass base and voila! Red door! LOL I actually wanted a warm oak color, but the red works better, IMHO.
